104th FA Regiment & 104th FA & 249th FA Bns

In WWI, the 104th FA was a full-fledged Regiment with all the supporting batteries. It remained so until after the 27th Division left Fort McClellan, AL to conduct Homeland Security on the West Coast following the attack on Pearl Harbor. Then it was broken up into two separate FA Battalions, the 104th and 249th. Below is a roster of the Regiment as it looked at Fort McClellan.
